A building that in its day was a quality hotel. Having been left empty for sometime we were appointed as main contractor to make the building weather tight and carry out extensive structural repairs to the roof of the building as it was in such a poor state The works required a full structural scaffold with a temporary roof to allow all the roof covering to be stripped, repairs carried out and then reroofed. As the roof works continued we also carried out full repairs to the large central chimney within the house. This required the careful propping of the central core of the stack to allow rotten timbers to be cut out and brickwork pieced in. Finally, to the front elevation, all the windows were replaced and the face brickwork was completely repaired and repointed.
