As the longest standing member of the team, Phil has worked with Ekins for many years. Starting as a contracts manger he has an extensive knowledge of the construction which allows the more tricky projects be completed successfully. Phil will work closely with architects and clients which means that all are kept up to date with progress and site developments.
Edward Norman gained experience in the construction industry by joining a national subcontractor, working with the major national contractors on new builds, extensions and alterations to supermarkets throughout the UK. In 2007 he became the fourth generation to join Ekins. Edward will cost your project, he will issue project valuations on a monthly basis, price any variations and agree final accounts on the project completion.
Having worked in the construction industry for most of his life Keith brings considerable experience to the team. When we receive a new project enquiry Keith will prepare the tender to the drawings and specifications issued. If the project is negotiated he will work closely with the clients and architects to carefully cost analyse the works and put a project budget together. When on site Keith will issue monthly valuations and variations as the works progress.
Trish joined us in 2023 coming from a hotel chain working within their accounts office. She is responsible for the accounts of the business and issues all the payments to subcontractors, invoices to clients, and runs the payroll and project costings.
Sam joined in 2023 starting on site, gaining experience and knowledge in construction. He then went on to study an NVQ Level 6 in Site Management which gave him the theory behind the practice he gained whilst on site. Sam now joins the team in the office, helping manage the larger projects as well as managing smaller ones on his own.
