George Ekins established a building company in the early years of the 19th century and the company constructed many fine buildings in Hertfordshire and the Home Counties including churches, schools, commercial buildings and country houses.
Ekins Builders Ltd. acquired the business on the retirement of Fred Norman and continue the tradition. Phil Davies and Edward Norman maintain their roles within the business with Keith Barrett joining the team.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our works and as a whole the team has extensive practical knowledge of construction which allows any problems encountered to be quickly and efficiently resolved.
Generally our work is carried out from drawings and specifications already agreed between the client and architect. However if, you have yet to appoint an architect or designer we have experience of working with many in the region and can recommend some for consideration.
