This was a unique project to repair a working stable yard. The existing courtyard stone surface was removed and replaced with Crosland Hill Yorkstone setts and surrounded by matching paving. The high quality finish was chosen to give the best traditional look with the hard wearing properties required for a stable yard. The stable blocks were refurbished and redecorated and new entrance gates and railings erected. The phasing of the project had to be carefully considered to allow constant safe access to the stable blocks and the minimising of the dust and noise for the horses.
