This project was the winner of the RICS award for the best commercial project in the East of England in 2019, and it was one of the company’s more prestigious projects. It was multifaceted, involving the complete structural repair of four listed traditional timber barns, the construction of two new barns in a similar style, and a new Atcost building and reception area. In conjunction with Nicholas Mee & Co., the end user, all the buildings were fitted out to provide a state-of-the-art car showroom, workshops and garages. Externally the area was completely redressed with finishes that complement the traditional buildings whilst maintaining the prestige appearance.
